Many Care Home owners must be sitting with their fingers and legs crossed. with a "There but for the grace of God go I." attitude.

At the time of this fire, Care Homes were in the main, often as described in this summary.

Guidance given at the time from F & RS was to check before calling 999 to stop turn outs to false alarms.

I can assure anyone reading this, that the Homes in the Balmer Group are now as safe as you will find any Care Home. I, or my close family would be happy to reside in any of their Homes.
