Contractors beware.
The days of fitting any old door thinking the client won't know are numbered. The requirement for Fire Doors mean that they must conform to testing standards eg BS EN 1634 Part 1 or BS 476 Part 22.
Remember the door frame and ironmongry (hinges etc) must comply also. An intumescent strip and cold smoke seal should be found preferrably in the door frame or in the door itself.
